Shipping & Return Policy

Order Processing & Arrival Time

All publications and products from Moorish Islamic Store / Mother Is Calling Productions are Print-On-Demand.

This includes books, magazines, DVDs, and CDs. Orders are manufactured upon payment and are not pre-stocked.

  • Standard print production time: 3 to 5 business days (excluding weekends and holidays).

  • Estimated arrival time: Please allow 2 to 4 weeks for your order to arrive, depending on the type of product and order volume.

    • Print-on-demand books: Typically arrive within 3 to 4 weeks.

    • DVDs/CDs: Generally arrive within 2 to 3 weeks.

    • Bulk orders: May require additional processing time; please allow up to 4 weeks.

Will My Order Arrive on Time?

While we strive to fulfill all orders promptly, shipping times are estimated and not guaranteed. Orders are shipped after the production process is complete.

We use USPS Priority Mail, which typically delivers within 2 to 3 business days. However, delivery may be delayed due to:

  • Incorrect delivery addresses

  • Postal service issues

  • Customs for international shipments

  • Delivery restrictions for prisons or military bases

Note for Prison Deliveries: Orders sent to inmates are processed through the prison mailroom. We do not have control over when the mailroom distributes items to inmates.

Shipping Costs & Options

Shipping costs are based on the number of items ordered, not weight or size.

  • All orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail by default.

  • If you prefer FedEx or UPS, additional fees will apply and must be arranged separately.

  • For APO/FPO/DPO military addresses, we ship exclusively through the USPS. Express services cannot be used for these addresses.

International Orders: We will contact you to verify your delivery address and confirm any necessary shipping cost adjustments before your order ships.

Return & Exchange Policy

We generally do not offer refunds. All sales are final. However, we do accept exchanges on certain items within 7 days of delivery. To initiate an exchange, please contact us first to confirm eligibility.

Eligible exchanges include:

  • DVDs or Audio CDs with issues such as no picture, skipping, or no sound

  • Kufis, Turbans, or Clothing items due to wrong size or color (items must be unused and in original packaging)

All other items are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
